Make tracks to Thirlmere and go loco for a day.
The Rail Heritage Centre at Thirlmere is located in the picturesque foothills of the Southern Highlands. A day at the Centre is a memorable and enriching experience for visitors of all ages.
Thirlmere has long been the home to Australia's biggest collection of heritage trains and enthusiastic volunteers.
There is plenty to see and do for all ages - see our trains in a new light in the upgraded display hall, watch the drama of the working turntable; and see into the heart of the workshop of the first roundhouse built in Australia in 50 years.
